Shenandoah Hiking Retreat

Love hiking? Obsessed with a good view? Ready for a summer weekend of epic adventures?

This isn’t just a weekend of bucket list hikes and waterfalls (though you’ll get plenty of both). It’s a retreat designed for women who love the outdoors, want to spend time with other adventurous women, and are ready for an unforgettable weekend in the mountains.

We’ll hike Shenandoah National Park’s most scenic summer trails, take on bucket list hikes like Old Rag Mountain, chase mountain waterfalls, relax in golden hour light, and spend our evenings around a campfire with a group of women who get it.

You’ll leave with new memories, new friends, incredible photos, and the kind of weekend that resets your brain in the best way.

Want to take it further? Stay for the optional Content Creator Add-On Day—a bonus 24 hours focused on coaching, photography, reels, editing, and building your skills as a creator.

Who This Retreat Is For

This retreat is for you if:

  • You love hiking, waterfalls, overlooks, and being outside all day.

  • You’ve had Old Rag Mountain on your bucket list.

  • You’d rather spend a weekend on the trail than sitting around doing the same old thing.

  • You’re tired of waiting for someone to go with.

  • You want to meet adventurous women and make genuine friendships.

  • You’re coming solo and want a welcoming group.

  • You want a weekend that feels exciting, active, and memorable.

  • You want someone else to plan the details so you can just show up and enjoy it.

  • You do not need to know anyone attending.

  • You do not need to be an expert hiker BUT you should be able to hike 9 miles with rock scrambling!

  • You just need to be up for adventure.

NOTE: We will be hiking Old Rag on this trip. This is considered a difficult hike, but we'll keep the pace steady and moderate (we're not doing it for the work out but for the views!). The hike is 9 miles and does have some pretty fun rock scrambling. Half of this hike is a flat fire road, but the other half is a decent climb. The view from the top is absolutely worth it though, one of the best hikes on the East Coast!

Common Questions

Do I have to be a content creator or photographer to come? Absolutely not! Most of the women that come on my trips and hikes are just there for the views and a chance to hang out with other awesome women.

What if I’m coming solo? Amazing—most women are! This retreat is designed to help you feel welcomed, inspired, and connected from the moment you arrive.

Will there be bathrooms and showers? Yes. We’re camping at an established group site with bathrooms, water, and basic amenities nearby.

How much hiking will there be? We’ll be doing one hike per day, the hardest being Old Rag at 9 miles. We'll be taking plenty of breaks for photos, snacks, and rest.

Do I have to camp? Actually no. I get it. You don't need to love sleeping on the ground to love hiking and the outdoors. You are welcome to book and pay for your own lodging with a comfy bed, Big Meadows Lodge has some amazing rooms. All activities and meals will be at the campground and you will be responsible for transporting yourself to and from your own lodging. Retreat cost will be the same.
